Black-red core with red rim. Aroma of black pepper, exotic spice and 'Karoo' shrub. The mouthfeel is concentrated, spicy and brooding. Hints of cherry, coffee and blackberry fruit surprise the palate. Tannins are soft, but persistent and lingering on the after taste. The wine should peak between 2008 and 2012.
